About Kajal Chaudhari

An architect aspiring to learn and nurture myself in a professional environment to gain real time exposure. Architecture is something that allows me to connect with people, with various communities, to know and live the lives of so many people. It is this connect that drives me and constantly sparks my imagination. I will always strive to design spaces that respond to the local context and tries to create a dialogue with people and nature. As a part of the enriching workspace in KRVIA, I have had exposure to a wide range of projects, exhibitions, presentations, and workshops. At KRVIA during the academics, I got to know and interact with renowned personalities across various fields of music, arts, science, culture, technology which has helped shape my opinions and ideologies. I have an experience of working in an architectural and urban design based firm known as Prasanna Desai Architects over 2.5years. During my professional life I’ve had an opportunity of working on various streetscape design projects wrt drawings, detailing and handling the site work. I’ve worked on projects in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and Kolhapur under PMC, PCMC and KMC resp. I’ve experience of working as an freelancer for Urban Design projects in Mumbai. I am detail-oriented and love to do extensive research for a project. I am comfortable with various software programs like AutoCAD, sketchup, Revit (BIM), Photoshop, and In-design, MS Office. I am passionate about my work and can work well as a team member and leader.
