ABOUT KAIZEEN CONFECTIONER

I have always been someone who is driven by social impact. I completed my double Masters Degrees with distinction - the first, from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in Mental health and the second, from Surrey University in Occupational and Organisational Psychology. Currently working in UK my journey to this point has been an exciting one, filled with ups and downs, but incredibly fulfilling, nevertheless. In 2022 I started my degree at Surrey University, and alongside this, I began my part-time work with Halow Project, which would end up being the start of a beautiful journey of employment and growth. Starting in social care while studying, I was trusted and promoted to part-time HR administrator immediately after my graduation. Now 2 years in to working at the Halow Project, I am a full time permanent member of the team, as Volunteer Coordinator. I have been given the opportunity to grow at this organisation and trusted for my work ethic, honesty, creativity and dedication. With my previous background, I am experienced in HR, mental health consultancy, social care, with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am also recognized for strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, complemented by published research and project experience in mental health awareness. I am eager to continue to work in the field of HR, specifically to contribute to an inclusive and supportive workplace with a focus on enhancing organisational culture, DEI, and employee engagement.
