Willow Tree Mind & Wellness provides evidence-based mental health services to children, youth, and families in Toronto, through one-on-one and group-based programming. As a Program Assistant (Practicum Student) on behalf of Toronto Metropolitan University, I shadow Behavioural Therapists working with neurodiverse clients, support group programming, and participate in clinical assessments- Shadow Behavioural Therapists supporting children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and mental health challenges through group programming and one-to-one sessions- Facilitated group programming and actively contributed to clinical assessments, goal setting, and treatment planning, while supporting data collection and progress monitoring to enhance client outcomes- Administrative tasks that include developing resources for families that have newly received an ASD/ADHD diagnosis, prepping materials for programming (ex. Stimuli, PECS)- Use Applied Behavioural Analysis therapy to support neurodiverse children and youth in social, academic, and problem-solving skills under clinical supervision

ABOUT KAIYA CHAKRAVARTY
Hello! My name is Kaiya Chakravarty and I am a fourth-year Bachelor of Social Work student at Toronto Metropolitan University as well as a Registered Social Service Worker, having graduated from Sheridan College. I am experienced in both non-profit management and the disability sector. Currently, I am a Shift Leader at the Geneva Centre for Autism, where I provide one-on-one support to children, youth, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a recreational respite setting, as well as group management and functional coaching to staff, students, and volunteers. In my free time I volunteer with the Sexual Assault Survivor Support Line at Toronto Metropolitan Student\'s Union Centre for Safer Sex and Sexual Violence Support, providing survivors with confidential supportive listening. In addition, I am committed to building and preserving the occupation of Social Service Workers and the social services field- I volunteer with the Ontario Social Service Workers Association where I participate in strengthening the scope of social services through a variety of empowerment initiatives.
