ABOUT KAITLYN BUTTERFIELD
I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Clinical Developmental Psychology with additional specialized training in Clinical Neuropsychology. My clinical research takes place in the Pediatric Stroke Program at The Hospital for Sick Children, where I evaluate factors contributing to resilient and vulnerable neurocognitive outcomes in pediatric stroke patients. My research interests extend to mild traumatic brain injury in university-level athletes, where I am involved in research that evaluates neurocognitive outcomes following concussion. I have earned two previous Master\'s degrees in Clinical Developmental Neuropsychology and Child Psychology. I am deeply committed to conducting research and providing clinical care in an equitable and accessible manner. My formal training and experience conducting clinical neuropsychological assessments and providing psychotherapeutic treatment services takes place in private practice, University clinics, and The Hospital for Sick Children’s Stroke, Transplant and Regenerative Medicine, and Neurosurgery Clinics. In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting.
