I’m a senior at Kent Denver with a strong passion for media, marketing, and communications. I manage the Kent Denver Sports Network and our varsity boys’ lacrosse and Track and Field Instagram accounts, where I create game-day graphics, video highlights, and behind-the-scenes content that builds school spirit and strengthens community. I love the creative process, taking raw footage or a single idea and turning it into something that captures attention and tells a story. I’m also a section editor and writer for our school newspaper, where I get to explore the narratives that matter most to students. Whether I’m writing a feature on a student-athlete, covering a school event, or editing peers’ work, I’m always thinking about how to make stories resonate with readers. These experiences have taught me how to tailor content to different audiences, work under deadlines, and think critically about messaging, all skills that I hope to bring into the world of marketing and digital media. Beyond just writing and design, I’m fascinated by how content travels, what makes someone stop scrolling, why certain ideas spread, and how people connect to brands or stories emotionally. I’m drawn to the psychology behind content creation, and I’m always experimenting with new formats and platforms to see what clicks. At the core of everything I do is a love for connecting with people. Whether through a well-edited video, a compelling headline, or a thoughtful Instagram post, I want my work to make others feel seen, informed, or inspired. My interests lie at the intersection of journalism, branding, digital strategy, and human connection, and I’m excited to keep exploring that intersection as I grow.
