About Kaitlyn Ciak

Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a huge numbers person. I am currently a student at Binghamton University pursuing a Master\'s in Accounting. While at Bing, I\'ve delved into and grown my passion for accounting and business in general. One of the most interesting courses I\'ve taken has been MIS 323 (Systems Analysis), where I first learned the process behind implementing a project within a business and completed a semester-long team project to analyze and propose changes to Spotify. Outside of the classroom, my experience in the PwC Scholars Program and Binghamton Accounting Association has allowed me to explore my professional interests and take on more leadership roles. As the co-director of the Scholars Program\'s annual Ignite fundraiser in 2022 and the host of a Graduate Professor Panel for the Accounting Association, I have gained experience planning and hosting both small and large events with the goals of raising money for charity and raising awareness of continuing education opportunities at Binghamton. Off-campus, I have interned in Citi\'s Internal Audit practice in the summers of 2023 and 2024. I am thrilled to have had this amazing opportunity to learn more about the practice and explore a potential career path.
