ABOUT KAITLYN BOX

I am a Partner at Cyrus D. Mehta & Partners PLLC, where I work with corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of immigration and nationality matters, including labor certification, EB-1 petitions, nonimmigrant visa petitions (H-1B, TN, L, O, E-2, etc.), adjustment of status, consular matters, naturalization matters, waivers, family petitions, asylum, cancellation of removal, and TPS. I regularly represent clients during I-130, adjustment of status, and N-400 interviews before USCIS. I also assist with ethics matters for immigration lawyers.I earned my J.D, cum laude, from Penn State Law, where I served as the Managing Editor of Research for the Journal of Law and International Affairs and earned several CALI awards, including for my coursework in immigration law. I was also a member of the nationally recognized Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic (CIRC), and provided research assistance to CIRC’s Director and renowned immigration scholar, Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia.I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and French from Drury University in Springfield, MO. I am the author or co-author of several articles in publications like the AILA Law Journal, Frontiers, and Bender’s Immigration Bulletin, co-authored an ethics article for AILA InfoNet, and am a frequent co-contributor to the Insightful Immigration Blog. I am admitted to practice in New York. I speak fluent French and have a working knowledge of Spanish. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the AILA Law Journal Editorial Board, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association.
