I received my Bachelor\'s in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego, where I worked as both a columnist for and Editor in Chief of the campus newspaper. After a somewhat brief stint in the world of publishing post-grad, I found myself called to birth work. The call was so undeniably strong that I left my job as an Editorial Assistant at SAGE Publications to create my own birth and postpartum business. The pursuit was successful and I found myself fully immersed in the realm of mothercare almost immediately. Upon sharing my website and marketing creations with the international community of birth and postpartum professionals, my entrepreneurial role expanded to include web design, writing, editing, and mentorship for colleagues and organizations who were drawn to my style - both visually and collaboratively. The work I do remains to be a balance of multiple editorial and wellness offerings. I am currently engaged in editorial and consulting opportunities with businesses and publications that center on the elevation of natural health and healing, plant medicine, motherhood, Mother Earth, entrepreneurship, storytelling, the creative arts, and an irresistible reverence for Life itself. My personal practice includes birthkeeping, motherhood mentorship, spiritual practice cultivation, prayer writing circles, sister circles, and regularly publishing to my Magic Pocean, my Substack.
