ABOUT KAITLIN HASSELER LEVENSTRONG
I am a mission-driven professional with more than 15 years of professional experience identifying, building and deepening collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, business leaders, board members, NGOs, media professionals and policy makers. Throughout my career, I have cultivated a deep desire to understand and connect to the passions and motivations of the diverse stakeholders I work with. I believe wholeheartedly in building authentic connections around common purpose and values, and helping people live into the change they want to see in the world. I am passionate about connecting people with the issues and organizations they care about, in order to more boldly invest their wealth, time, and talents together for social transformation. I seek to work within and alongside organizations committed to reimagining and redistributing our current economic and societal structures in order to unleash more opportunity for all. I have significant experience in cross-sector collaboration, capacity building, diversified revenue streams, program management, donor cultivation & organizing, prospect research, strategic messaging/branding, program outcomes evaluation, organizational culture building, public speaking, and social enterprise development. My areas of expertise and passion connect particularly to gender equity, racial justice and white allyship, building an inclusive & sacred economy, youth empowerment, philanthropic intersections with justice and faith, difficult discussions facilitation, social enterprise, Board/volunteer engagement, advocacy, grassroots organizing, civic engagement, outcomes evaluation, and experiential-based education opportunities, as well as creating strategic partnerships across the non-profit and for-profit sectors. I am interested in exploring fields of strategic philanthropy and social entrepreneurship/enterprise; mobilizing resources and effective movement-building around social justice issues; community-centric fundraising and donor organizing; policy, systems and design thinking; and building more robust local economies. My curiosity, communication skills, compassion and collaborative nature (and perhaps also my alliteration abilities) are some of my strongest assets.I am also grateful to be both a Midwesterner by birth and a Californian by zip code these days (with East Coast and international influences mixed in). Time outdoors in nature is what I seek most often in my downtime.
