Works closely with R&D and Product Strategy Sr Leadership and staff to define and execute HR strategies which enable the accomplishment of company objectives and values including, but not limited to workforce planning, succession planning, and business unit restructures. Partners with business leaders in R&D and Product Strategy organizations to improve organizational effectiveness by diagnosing issues in the workplace and identifying appropriate strategies to resolve problems, improve team performance, and development of people strategies that support the business needs. Work closely with assigned divisions leadership teams and Compensation group to address staffing concerns including: restructuring, reclassifications and creation of new positions. Proactively analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR support services to identify areas to of opportunities and assist with the development of solutions, programs and policies that address these needs. Manages the integration of company-wide programs and initiatives with Sr Leaders (e.g, merit/promotion process, bonus payments, workforce planning, and organizational change, etc). Facilitates navigation of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department and/or Sr HR Leadership as needed/required. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions) that is consistently implemented for all employees. Advocate on behalf of designated business areas when HR policies, procedures and initiatives are being created or reviewed. Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation. Assist in the creation and updates of HR procedures including: ADA Accommodations, Religious Accommodations and Workplace Investigations.
