Provide oversight and supervision to Mental Health Court staff and interns in service delivery to program participants * Educate community members, legal staff, and stakeholders of the Mental Health Court program, criteria, and referral process* Lead and collaborate with the Mental Health Court Team members including prosecutors, defense attorneys, and probation. Collaborate with treatment providers including psychiatrists, therapists, and other community clinicians to ensure timely, efficient, and effective services for each participant * Conduct management and supervisory functions including staff development, ethical policies and procedures, specialty court best practices, budget development, training, and evaluating employee professional growth and progress * Responsible for screening, assessment, and eligibility determination,monitoring those within the referral process, and current participant’s engagement in treatment * Write and edit grants, compile, and complete required statistical analysis and evaluate program efficacy and effectiveness *Supervise and facilitate trainings and workshops * Maintain and work to grow community partnerships to improve service delivery, promote client self-sufficiency, and support clients in reaching wellness goals •Advocate for the needs of the court participants and pursue contracts with service providers who can fill in gaps in services to meet these needs
