ABOUT KAILYN SITTER
Kailyn is a social scientist trained in biology and cultural anthropology (BS) and medical anthropology (MS). Her expertise in ethnographic fieldwork, qualitative research, mixed-methods research, community-based participatory research, and program evaluation distinguishes her as an experienced applied social scientist. Kailyn works as a Health Science Specialist at the Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research (CHOIR) within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In her role, she conducts primary and secondary research to develop improvements in health services offered to Veterans; leads initiatives to include community perspectives in research; and effectively manages a over dozen research studies and associated personnel.
