ABOUT KAILYN MARANAN
Hello! My name is Kailyn Maranan. I am a fourth-year student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Environmental Economics and Policy (EEP) and Conservation and Resource Studies (CRS) at the Rausser College of Natural Resources. In addition, I am pursuing a Berkeley Changemaker Certificate of Completion.My academic journey is driven by an interest in understanding and addressing environmental challenges. Focusing on Environmental Economics and Policy, I aim to explore resource allocation strategies to preserve our environment. My passions lie in environmental policy, where I am excited about the opportunity to create impactful solutions to ensure the protection of the environment.Simultaneously, my pursuit of a BS in Conservation and Resource Studies allows me to tailor my academic path toward my future goals. I specifically aim to bridge the gap between environmental factors and their effect on human health. This unique path enables me to contribute to solutions to promote healthy living for all.Additionally, through the Berkeley Changemaker program, I partake in a curriculum of critical thinking, communication, and collaboration.
