Interdisciplinary experience in mechanical engineering and materials science by experimental, FEA and MD methods.• Experienced in characterization and properties tests/ FEA simulations of graphene, CNT, amorphous alloy, polymer composite thin film materials and thin-film photovoltaic cells, including structural and mechanical properties, and failure modes analysis.• Hands-on experience in FMEA and materials characterization (atomic structure, electrical, electromagnetism, thermal and deformation properties) with TEM, SEM, FIB, EDS, XRD, XPS, Raman, FTIR, DMA, TGA, and DSC.• Hands-on experience in accelerated tests and risk management.• Experienced in cold spray additive manufacturing and microstructure change of brittle and ceramic materials.• Proficient laboratory skills in mechanical properties tests from quasi-static to high strain rate using Universal testing machine, Split Hopkinson pressure bar, drop tests, laser-induced microprojectile impact tests, accelerometers, strain gauges, load cells, and pressure sensors.• Proficient in laser-based optical systems.• Multiscale simulation skills from Finite Element Analysis, Coarse-grained Molecular Dynamics to Full-atom Molecular Dynamics Simulations • Data analysis skills with Matlab and Python• First-author/Co-author of more than ten papers published in high-impact journals, such as Science Advances, Materials Today, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, and Carbon.
