ABOUT KAILE CRAWFORD

Kaile Crawford, an experienced and certified nurse educator, currently serves as a programmatic advisor within the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ (NRP). Her responsibilities include providing strategic support and guidance to organizations in their efforts to transition newly licensed nurses into practice. With over 700 organizations currently enrolled in the Vizient NRP, Kaile also plays a key role in program enhancement initiatives, overseeing data management and evaluation efforts.Before joining Vizient, Kaile commenced her career at a rural critical access hospital (emergency and acute services), where she had the honor of caring for community members, friends, and family members in her hometown. Seeking new challenges, she transitioned to a prominent academic medical center, gaining experience across various adult care settings focusing on adult pulmonary care and perioperative interventional cardiology. Here, she discovered her passion for mentoring new nurses, engaging in quality improvement endeavors, and fostering nursing professional development.Driven by her commitment to supporting and educating novice nurses, Kaile pursued a master’s degree in nursing education in 2018. As a certified nursing professional development specialist, she has refined her skills by spearheading initiatives in nursing onboarding, high-fidelity simulation training, quality improvement projects, resuscitation training, and guiding new graduates through transition-to-practice programs as an NRP program coordinator.
