ABOUT KAILA BERGER

As a finance and accounting leader, I love to champion my team and empower others throughout the enterprise. I build strong relationships, attentively listen to my teams\' challenges, and bring a bit of laughter into our interactions (Excel jokes can be funny!). My leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.I leverage my experiences as a financial consulting director and a recovering auditor to assist in modernizing the accounting and finance function by technology-driven solutions and process optimization. I have led various advisory projects related to business process outsourcing, audit optimization, transaction support, and financial reporting. I love efficiency and bringing value to others. I have provided industry thought leadership to PE-backed companies. I have led as a technical advisor in various accounting topics, such as business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition, etc. In addition, I have provided additional insights on M&A transactions built from my experiences leading various buy-side due diligence and quality of earnings projects. In the virtual environment, I have sourced and generated millions of revenue speaking to my ability to cultivate relationships.I am passionate about learning something every day, love a good laugh, and am deeply committed to my family, faith, and local philanthropic efforts. I participated as a corporate Partner with Social Venture Partners Charlotte, a venture philanthropy organization focused on investing in nonprofits who are attacking the issue of social and economic inequality in the Charlotte region. In doing such over the course of a few years, I was appointed a SEED20 coach for a prominent city-wide pitch competition. In back-to-back years, I coached two grassroot nonprofits to win distinguished awards at the onstage SEED20 event and advance their cause in Charlotte! An honor!
