About Kaiesha Ford
I have a love for WTS (writing, technology, and service). After undergraduate school, I landed a job with a software IT consulting firm and gained exposure to different service offerings (business intelligence, software development, and QA testing). I obtained experience in managing support tickets and performing Tier 1 support for over 11 enterprise clients reducing the response time by 25%. I later found my niche in QA and software testing to help lead teams and implement software test improvement techniques and strategies to prevent and detect over 75% of defects and failures earlier in the SDLC, constructed a 1-week training session for new test specialists, increasing the ability to add value on any technical engagement within 2-4 weeks after the initial hire. Outside of work, I serve on different nonprofit boards and/or planning committees to raise awareness and benefit different causes in our community. With my team, I started our own nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization to help educate and inspire the entire community by offering and promoting different speaking events and informative programming that focus on history and education, creative artistry, and mentorship. At the end of 2020, I went through a \"transitional\" season both mentally and spiritually. As I was taking it one day at a time, I surprised myself when I stood up and said with confidence that I wanted to share my story.
