Working with the Lake Champlain Basin Program, I am trained in identifying and collecting many different kinds of aquatic invasive species (AIS) from both launching and retrieving boaters that can harm Lake Champlain\'s natural ecosystem. I educate the public about the damage these species can cause and preventative measures that should be followed with all types of water craft. I build relationships with new and returning boaters as well as offer a decontaminating boat wash with hot water that removes any possible AIS stuck to the water craft.
