BQFQ creates artistic and discrete Pride products that give back to the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Our designs incorporate the colours of pride flags in subtle ways that are identifiable for community members while keeping homophobic and transphobic individuals out of the loop — empowering queer individuals to express themselves and identify allies in environments that may not feel safe.In addition to product development, I organized a city-wide market featuring 18 LGBTQIA2S+ vendors, live music, and educational presentations. A portion of our profits supports LGBTQIA2S+ initiatives, and our impact was recognized with a grant from the Sheridan EDGE program.
