About Kai McGalla
I am a junior at Florida State University pursuing a double major in Finance and Spanish. My academic journey began with a year in Valencia, Spain, where I studied at the FSU Study Center and immersed myself in both business coursework and Spanish culture. I am fully fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong passion for connecting language and business on a global scale. In high school, I founded and managed a landscaping company, overseeing 17 weekly accounts, including a community tennis center. I successfully grew my hourly rate from $20 to over $60 before transitioning ownership to a peer upon starting university. More recently, I completed a Finance and Supply Chain internship at Amcor’s largest North American bottling plant, where I led an operations improvement project using Lean Six Sigma tools and developed an AI-driven concept to reduce machine downtime. This past fall, I served as a Program Assistant for FSU International Programs in Valencia. I was selected for this leadership role based on my crisis management abilities and my daily contributions as a translator supporting students abroad. This upcoming summer, I will be joining RSM’s D365 team as a Finance and Supply Chain Consulting Intern in Atlanta, Georgia.I am passionate about operations consulting and process improvement—optimizing systems, reducing inefficiencies, and helping organizations work smarter. As a strong advocate for bilingual communication, I believe language is one of the most powerful tools for bridging cultures and solving complex business challenges. I am eager to connect with professionals who share a passion for operational excellence and global collaboration.
