About Kai Jorgensen

As the Vice President of Operations at Copestone General Contractors, I oversee all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. I establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards, and lead teams of project managers, estimators, and field staff. I also mitigate project risks, coordinate diverse resources, and implement process enhancements to improve overall company efficiency and profitability. With BA degree coursework from Limestone College and a PMP certification course from the University of South Carolina, I have the skills and knowledge to plan, organize, and direct multiple projects within specifications and budget constraints. I have successfully completed several large and complex projects, such as a $50 million hotel renovation, a $35 million school expansion, and a $25 million office building. In addition, I am the owner and operator of Earlewood Design Haus, a custom furniture and home decor shop that specializes in dining tables, side tables, consoles, desks, and baby and dog safety gates and accessories. I am passionate about creating unique and functional pieces that enhance the aesthetics and comfort of any space.
