About Kai Fuentes

I am the President and Founder of Ebony Marketing Systems, Inc.(EMS), a multicultural market research firm. Prior to EMS, I served as the Project Research Director for Novacell Research for 10 years and supervised some of the company’s largest research projects, including McDonald’s Corporation, Nielsen Media, Chrysler Corporation, Ford Motors, and U.S. Department of the Army. I have extensive experience using the latest survey query techniques and data collection instruments that are used to measure both qualitative and quantitative data output. As a minority female business owner, I saw a need as well as an opportunity to develop a niche within the marketing research arena in the area of multicultural research. As such, I have galvanized and assembled a staff of experienced market researchers, adroit in the field of multicultural research studies, which positions the firm to undertake challenging research studies across different population segments. I have extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research studies which has given projects a broad perspective on African American consumer issues, from music to automobile research. I\'m able to bring cultural insights to the qualitative research arena, which facilitates the identification of ethnic-bound perceptions and attitudes of the multicultural market.
