As a Cloud Security/Cybersecurity Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, I apply my technical skills and business acumen to support the Department of Defense in securing and optimizing their information systems. I have over nine years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, holding active Secret and Top Secret clearances.I have successfully upgraded, monitored, and assessed system security controls for compliance with IAVA, STIG, and RMF, ensuring adherence to SSP and NIST SP 800-53 Rev5. I have also developed, modified, and updated system documentation for RMF and NIST SP to support ATO decisions. I have remediated audit findings and mitigated security vulnerabilities promptly, using tools such as ACAS, SCAP, and eMASS. I have prepared and submitted monthly STEs to report on the organization\'s security posture, including key metrics, findings, and recommendations for improvement.In addition to my cybersecurity expertise, I have also gained experience and certifications in cloud computing, Linux administration, and DevOps. I have supported and developed for AIE serverspace for DoD clients, administrating 50+ servers in AWS, updating, patching, and break/fix issues. I have developed Ansible playbooks for automation of patching using AWS tags, and CFTs for new infrastructure for automatic deployment. I have also STIG-hardened and worked with various teams to ensure Red Hat security and raise FISMA for RHEL 7/8 machines, using tools such as Radix Scan and LUKS.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, with a minor in Finance, from Virginia State University, where I graduated cum laude in 2014. I have leveraged my business and finance knowledge to understand the needs and goals of my clients and stakeholders, and to align my technical solutions with their strategic objectives. I am passionate about learning new technologies and taking on new challenges in building my technical acumen. I have demonstrated my adaptability and willingness to work in agile environments, where I have acquired and developed non-technical skills such as team building, problem-solving, and communication.
