About K Agbebiyi

K Agbebiyi is a community organizer, strategist, and writer with over a decade of experience working towards social change. With experience in the racial justice, reproductive justice, disability justice, and abolitionist movements K\'s writing and organizing strategy seeks to shift power structures in favor of the working class. K\'s work and writing has been featured in outlets such as Teen Vogue, Moma PS1, The New Inquiry, and Progressive Magazine. They have facilitated workshops at Harvard University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Iowa, and many others. In 2018, while a student at the University of Michigan, they founded the Building Power Conference, a conference about organizing against white supremacy. The conference continues to happen annually. In addition to community organizing experience, K also has experience in social media and digital strategy, policy analysis, research, and lobbying, various forms of community outreach, direct service, technical writing and program evaluation.
