As the Communications Manager of a large scale lot masterplan community, I oversee all strategic and operational communications for residents, internal teams, the Board of Directors, and community partners. My role ensures cohesive messaging across digital and print platforms including: the community website, newsletters, crisis communications, and promotional materials while maintaining brand standards and enhancing engagement.Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies aligned with community goals, HOA initiatives, and resident needs-Content Creation & Management: Oversee all content and strategic communications plans for the community e-newsletters, crisis communication memos, and emergency communications-Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between the HOA Board, residents, committees, and external partners to ensure clear, timely, and accurate messaging-Digital & Social Media Leadership: Manage all community social media accounts, analyze engagement metrics, and optimize content to increase reach and interaction- Event & Program Marketing: Promote community events, amenities, and lifestyle programs through targeted campaigns, email blasts, and partnerships- Crisis Communications: Act as the point of contact for urgent updates (e.g, weather, security, or facility closures), ensuring residents receive timely information-Brand Stewardship: Maintain and enforce community brand standards across all materials, including vendor-produced collateral- Team Leadership: Supervise communications staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams - Board & Committee Support: Prepare presentations, reports, and talking points for Board meetings; attend committee meetings as needed- Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics (website and surveys) to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI.
