ABOUT KADIATOU BARRY
I’m a Business Administration and Public Relations student at SUNY Oswego with a minor in Sales. I’m passionate about using communication and strategy to build meaningful connections and create positive change through public relations.My experiences at SUNY Oswego have allowed me to grow as both a communicator and leader. As a Personal Assistant and Program Coordinator for the Asia Programs, I support daily operations and coordinate study abroad logistics. As an EOP Peer Leader, I help new students transition to college life and promote an inclusive community. I also serve as a Desk Attendant, previously worked on the Cleaning Staff, and earlier served as a Student Ambassador at Morris Academy, where I assisted with event planning and student outreach.I’m actively involved on campus as Secretary for Oswego Bold Black Beauties, and Director of Programming for the Oswego African Student Union. As well as past experiences as Director of Social Media for the Women’s Center.My study abroad experiences in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan have strengthened my global perspective and cross-cultural communication skills. I’m eager to connect with professionals in public relations, communications, and brand strategy to continue learning and growing in the field.
