About Kadhiravan Subramanian

Currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Psychology at Periyar University, India. Had 23 years of research and 20 years of teaching experience. Guided and guiding numerous students in the specialized areas like Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Styles, Self-Regulated Learning & Behavior, Learning Disability and Counseling. Produced 50 M.Phil.’s and 15 Ph.D.’s so far. Published more than 75 research articles in leading journals. Awarded \"Ellis Scholar- Summer Fellowship\" and trained in Rational Emotive & Cognitive Behaviour Therapies at Albert Ellis Institute,New York, USA from 08.07.16 to 17.07.16. Attended many National/International Conferences as well as Seminars and workshops. Served as resource person in numerous Personality Development programs and conducted more than 175 programs in various areas of Psychology. The target audiences include parents, teachers, students, police personnel, corporate and public. A certified clinical hypnotherapist, trained counselor in marital, family & sexual counseling and a NLP trainer. Believes in the principle that “behind most of the physical causes, a psychological cause exists”. Treated and cured many critical cases affected due to anxiety, depression, cervical spondylosis etc. Having an unique style for treating clients ie, a mixer of varmam, energy healing, hypnotherapy, counseling and psycho-therapy to treat the patients so far with 100% success rate.
