Completed work in all areas of the boatbuilding process, such as fiberglass cutting, boat mold construction, hardware installation, resin infusion, final assembly, boat sales, and front office work. In order to to familiarize myself with every aspect of Onslow Bay, I’ve worked 6 different stints (2018, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025, and 2026), while also learning about the business between then. Additionally, I received a Summer Internship Experience Award from RuralWorks at NC State in May 2023, helping further my chemical engineering knowledge by working under seasoned boat building technicians. Following my internship with ChemTreat, I returned to Onslow Bay to learn the inner workings of resin infusion through a second stint with the RuralWorks internship program.
