About Kaden Lucas
I’m excited to share that I graduated from Penn State University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Security and Risk Analysis, along with a Minor in Information Sciences and Technology and Supply Chain Management through the College of Information Sciences and Technology and the Smeal College of Business. Building on this foundation, I’ve officially enrolled in the Penn State Smeal College of Business Master’s program in Supply Chain Management, beginning Fall 2025. I’m passionate about using data and technology to solve complex problems, optimize systems, and create value across industries — especially in the areas of supply chain and risk analytics. During Summer 2024, I interned with Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Orlando, Florida, where I supported supply chain management and procurement efforts for major defense programs and proposals. Key contributions included: • Expediting purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of critical components • Maintaining accurate cash flow through proper receipt and invoicing of delivered items • Mitigating proposal risks by validating supplier pricing • Monitoring subcontractor performance to ensure contract compliance In Summer 2023, I completed a Data Science Internship at Lockheed Martin, where I applied systems engineering, machine learning, and data analysis to complex challenges. I developed and implemented algorithms for model-based design, performance modeling, and governance frameworks — gaining hands-on experience with Python, Tableau, JavaScript, and working with unstructured data. 🤝 Across both internships, I collaborated closely with engineers, managers, and cross-functional teams — deepening my technical, analytical, and communication skills in high-stakes, fast-paced environments. I’m now seeking full-time opportunities where I can make a meaningful impact and continue growing in the fields of Supply Chain Management or Security and Risk Analytics. Let’s connect!
