As an Analyst at Fund Launch Partners, I work on the front lines of sourcing, underwriting, and structuring investments into emerging alternative fund managers. Originally brought on as an intern, I transitioned to a full-time role and now lead the acquisitions team, giving me a unique perspective on both the scale and selectivity of our process.Through this role I’ve- Reviewed and underwrote 900+ investment opportunities in 2024, with our pipeline on pace to exceed 1,800 in 2025, conducting deep-dive diligence on fund strategies, track records, legal structures, and financial models- Conducted 100+ introductory calls with fund managers from across the global, aiming to identify a path towards alignment with their offer and our value proposition- Been directly involved in deploying GP capital into funds across venture capital, private equity, real estate, private credit, and real assets- Worked directly with the Managing Partner to structure complex deal terms, negotiate LOIs, and build investor-facing materials (two-pagers, IC memos, and fundraising decks)- Served as an IC Observer, presenting findings, defending underwriting assumptions, and influencing allocation decisions- Led initial efforts on 5 of Fund Launch Partners’ 11 partnerships to date, participating in 9 overall.
