Excited to share that I am currently working as an Intern at DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.During this internship, I am gaining hands-on experience in fatigue and fracture mechanics of metallic materials, including fracture toughness testing and fatigue crack growth analysis. This opportunity is helping me understand failure mechanisms and materials characterization techniques used in critical engineering applications.Grateful for the opportunity to learn and contribute in such an inspiring research environment.

ABOUT KADEM YASHWANTH
I’m a final-year B.Tech student in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at MGIT with a strong interest in materials science, alloy design, and modern characterization techniques.My academic journey has included hands-on work with SEM, XRD, Vickers Hardness Testing, and Spark Plasma Sintering. I’ve recently worked on the microstructural characterization of Electron Beam Melted Ti-6Al-4V and the consolidation of composite powders for magnetic applications.In addition to my core subjects, I’m actively learning Python to explore opportunities at the intersection of materials and software. I also take great interest in research writing and plan to pursue certifications aligned with my goals.I’m open to opportunities in core metallurgy industries, research internships, and interdisciplinary roles that materials engineering with.
