Supervised By Adrian Tarbox - Matchday Production ManagerAs a Production Assistant Intern, I supported live matchday operations and technical productions for Rhode Island FC’s home games. My responsibilities included- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of audiovisual (A/V) systems, including field boards, audio racks, and interview microphones - Operating and maintaining the digital scoreboard, integrating live match data using Daktronics systems- Running and organizing fiber optic, Ethernet, and audio cabling for stadium-wide media infrastructure- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues during live broadcasts and eventsLearning and applying technical knowledge related to live production, digital signage, and networked A/V workflowsThis role deepened my hands-on experience in systems configuration, real-time troubleshooting, and live media environments, bridging my Computer Science background with practical industry operations in sports technology.
