   At Davila Engineering I have advanced the practice’s healthcare-focused MEPFP designs from first sketch to final hand-off. My day begins in AutoCAD MEP and Revit, where I develop complete sheet sets, size ductwork, model hydronic and plumbing systems, and run ventilation calculations that meet ASHRAE 170 and 62.1 as well as Florida code requirements. I translate these models into coordinated MPFP construction documents and emerging written specifications that reflect the firm’s veteran expertise with AHCA facilities.As projects move forward, I assume the role of job captain—tracking CPS items, answering RFIs, steering submittal reviews, and filtering bid documents so management can act on clear, risk-aware information. My growing familiarity with vendor catalogues and client standards lets me liaise directly with suppliers and facility teams at Toromont CIMCO, Memorial Healthcare System, CBRE, HCA Healthcare, Airston, Bank of America, Reich Brothers, Gurrimature, and Saltsmichelson Architects, aligning their priorities with ours and keeping schedules intact.To close out each engagement I prepare pre-TAB reports, finalize specs, and contribute targeted research that supports commissioning and long-term operability—work that has helped the firm deliver compliant, budget-conscious solutions on hospitals, chilled-water plants, and mission-critical renovations across the Southeast and beyond.
