About Kimberly
In Kim\'s current role, she manages a variety of efforts, including public relations, thought leadership, social media, influencer marketing and content marketing. Working closely with the SVP of Marketing, CEO, senior executives and the marketing team, she plays a key role in developing and implementing communications plans that align with the organization\'s mission and goals. Before joining Beyond Type 1, Kim spent a decade at marketing & PR firms, spearheading communications and media relations efforts for a variety of companies, but her passion for Beyond Type 1’s mission inspired her to make the leap into the nonprofit world. She holds a B.S. in Public Relations and Certificate of Business Foundations from The University of Texas at Austin.
