Our MissionCharity to provide year-round basketball training and competition to economically, intellectually, and physically disadvantaged children and give them the opportunity to develop core values, including- Teamwork- Patience- Seizing Every Opportunity- The Importance of Hard Work- Attention to Detail- Mental & Emotional Stability- The Inevitability of FailureOur PartnersLondon Knights Basketball Club (LKBC), founded in 1997, is a non-profit organisation that promotes and popularises the game of basketball. It is focused on grassroots development and nurturing basketball fundamentals in young players across London. LKBC currently runs competitive and non-competitive programs for children aged six to 18, children with learning disabilities, and adults over 50. Sports (SS), established in 2007, is a charity that believes every child deserves happiness. It has harnessed the transformative power of play to nurture disadvantaged children recovering from complex trauma and facing huge economic and social barriers. SS supports children\'s healing through sports, healthy eating, arts, educational trips, mentorship programs, and holidays. Olympics (SO), founded in 1968, aims to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. It is recognized by the International Olympic Committee. Impact to Date- 379 kids supported, 138 hours played, 259 coaches/volunteers recruited- Achieved via weekly/holiday training sessions and tournaments using LKBC coaches and venue, athletes via partnerships with LKBC, SS, and SO- Organised and sponsored the Grenfell Memorial Tournament (12 teams), June 18th, 2023, in partnership with LKBC and The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea- £18,650 raised through corporate sponsors including Paul Hastings LLP and friends/family
