As the founder of GML Tecnologias, I led a consultant team responsible for the comprehensive design and specification of the EDP-Brazil smart grid, encompassing IT/OT systems, telecommunications, and security. This effort culminated in creating a detailed request-for-purpose (RFP) that facilitated acquisitions and supported EDP in the provider selection process. Notably, I conducted cyber requirements elicitation, scope definition, and evaluation of security tools, frameworks, and models for the innovative grid project, employing the MITRE Cyber Mission Framework for risk analysis and architecture design. Additionally, I managed the consultant team tasked with designing and specifying the new EDP-Brazil Integrated Operation Center (IOC), ensuring adherence to industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and MITRE. Beyond this, I authored the Test Strategy and Planning for a new Brazilian inertial system within a Brazilian Spatial Agency program. I also developed a comprehensive proposal plan for utilizing Cat 1/2 RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) in cargo missions on offshore platforms. This plan included a detailed study on integrating RPAS with regular helicopters, creating Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) procedures and infrastructures to optimize aircraft flows, and implementing robust security analyses to ensure protected communication links and surveillance systems, addressing the critical nature of the operational environment.
