Working on a large-scale assessment platform used for high-stakes examinations across India. My role primarily focuses on backend development, architectural improvements, and production stability.Contributed to backend modernization by refactoring JSP–Servlet based flows into a cleaner layered structure and exposing JSON-based REST endpoints to support Angular integration.Developed and integrated a scientific calculator feature (used in exams such as CAT) using math.js for accurate real-time computations within the candidate console.Replaced JWPlayer with VideoJS and integrated Monaco Editor across the platform to improve security posture and standardize open-source tooling.Worked on multiple cross-functional security enhancements aimed at strengthening exam integrity and reducing misuse or unauthorized behavior.Built and evaluated architectural POCs involving Apache Ignite for in-memory caching to explore scalability improvements.Handled critical production issues under strict operational deadlines, ensuring result files and exam workflows were processed within defined timelines.
