About Kaan Serpersu
I am an engineer with backgrounds in both polymer and biomedical engineering. The main focus of my work has been on polymer characterization, polymer processing, plastics development, product design and modification through both masterbatch and compound formulations, analytical technique development and qualification, design and development of medical devices and biomaterials, polymeric scaffold fabrication, and cell culture. I lead the sustainability product development and internal sustainability efforts for Techmer PM with emphasis on renewable energy, bioresins (compostable, biodegradable, or renewable monomer), and process optimization.
