ABOUT KATIE TAYLOR STANNARD

I have over 18 years expertise in project delivery within transport planning for public and private sector clients. My technical project experience spans multiple sectors, including health, education, commercial and strategic land, from planning and design stages through to delivery. I bring a lengthy record of providing transport expertise for sizeable and often complex multi-disciplinary development projects. In navigating these complexities, I’ve built trusted relationships with clients and co-professionals. Quality communication, organisation and presentation skills are essential to building and maintaining this trust, as is integrity. My experience brings the ability to give quality early advice to clients reducing risks downstream. My technical experience includes- site / access feasibility and local plan promotion- transport vision and masterplan development (including active travel LTN 1/20 requirements)- person trip modelling- policy reviews and representations- strategic modelling - specifications and output reviews- junction modelling (Junctions10 & LinSig)- transport and environmental impact assessment and travel plans under TCPA and NSIP- stakeholder engagement, public consultations, member briefings- expert witness evidence preparation - multi-disciplinary project coordination and client liaisonOver my career with Stantec (and formerly Peter Brett Associates) I have fulfilled technical lead, project management, and more recently technical director, team lead and office lead roles. It\'s important to me that I am able to lead the personal and professional growth of others, bringing these skills to benefit those around me. I enjoy complex projects with multi-disciplinary elements, where placemaking, regenerative design and inclusivity are front and centre.
