Currently associated with the Centre of Excellence for Wildlife & Conservation Studies, Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University (BKNMU), India, contributing to conservation research, institutional strengthening, and outreach initiatives.My work spans field-based wildlife research, habitat and landscape-level assessments, GIS-supported spatial analysis, and socio-ecological surveys, complemented by practical experience in government systems and public policy implementation through service as a Deputy Section Officer with the Government of Gujarat. This combined exposure enables effective engagement at the science–policy interface, particularly in developing contexts.Previously, as a Research Fellow, I contributed to conservation projects involving habitat management, biodiversity assessment, community-based conservation, and stakeholder engagement. I have experience working across academic institutions, government departments, and civil society organizations, supporting evidence-based decision-making and capacity-building initiatives.My professional interests include wildlife conservation biology, habitat and natural resource management, conservation governance, GIS applications in ecology, community-led conservation approaches, and institutional capacity development, particularly in semi-arid, dryland, and biodiversity-rich landscapes.
