In over 25 years of listening to people\'s stories, I\'ve learned what makes us unique and what makes us so alike, how we long for autonomy and how we long for connection. I\'ve witnessed how much suffering there is when things are out of balance, and how much joy there is when finding balance lets you thrive. I\'ve had the honor of helping people just like you discover their sweet spot.Working through my own trauma, navigating chronic health conditions, facing a variety of marginalizing barriers, and going from having nothing to building a life for myself has taught me how to recognize and plan for imbalance, how to heal and restore, and how to thrive. Today, THRIVE has grown to include an international team that is saving thousands of lives and training hundreds of students in life affirming, non-carceral approaches to suicide intervention. Text anytime, from anywhere:+13•••••••09.• Established a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization representing and supporting people with marginalized identities.• Recruit an international team of >100 volunteers (80% LGBTQ2S+; 63% people of color; 54% people living with disability, neurodiversity, and/or mental health needs; 40% Trans and Nonbinary) from 5 different countries.• Remove access barriers and elevate volunteers through customized mentorship, training, leadership development, and network connections.• Define training goals and collaboratively design a proprietary 50-hour data-driven curriculum prioritizing intersectional-identity and trauma-informed approaches to suicide intervention• Implemented the curriculum into a learning management system with 5 training tracks, training across a variety of modalities. Create content management procedures and policies. Train new cohorts monthly.• Lead and manage teams supporting operations, programs, onboarding, training, assessment, outreach, and community engagement.• Develop, staff, and supervise an undergraduate bridge internship that supported >35 interns since 2020.• Supervise 24/7/365 text-based crisis support, hosting interactions in all U.S. States and Puerto Rico, all Canadian provinces, and >45 additional countries.• Partner with external clients to provide crisis support and workforce training to their constituents; provide anonymized data reports on their communities.
