ABOUT KUSHAL PARMAR
I am a Structural BIM Designer at DMC Mining Services, a leading provider of mining and contracting services in Canada and internationally. I have a Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering from India and two Post Graduate Certificates in Building Information Modeling and Construction Project Management from Fanshawe College in Canada.I have worked on over 100 projects to prepare models and construction documents for various types of buildings, such as High Rise Condos, Cultural Centres, Rec Centres, Pedestrian bridges, Hospitals, Residential houses, Libraries, Fire stations, Institutional buildings, Art Galleries, and Woman\'s shelters. I collaborate daily with engineers, architects, and contractors to produce accurate and detailed drawings, using software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Autpdesk Construction Cloud, Lumion, V-ray, and Bluebeam. I also develop, maintain, and update many Revit families and templates, and provide training and support to new and junior staff. I am proficient in BIM coordination and construction modeling, and I follow established BIM standards and best practices.I am passionate about building things and learning new skills. I believe that BIM is the future of the construction industry, and I want to contribute to its innovation and advancement. I participate in Autodesk Forum, where I provide solutions and learn from other BIM experts. I am also a self-learner, a team player, a detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
