Kunal has 20+ years of broad-based experience in IT Industry in various roles. In the last 10+ years he has done multiple roles in HR, specializing in Digital Transformation in areas of Workforce/Resource Management, Business Operations, Workforce Planning, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Competency Management and Talent Strategy. A technologist by heart, and having started his career as a software engineer, he is well versed with the challenges on the ground faced by engineers, Project Managers and Delivery teams. His technology background enables in early adoption of automation and machine learning in HR processes and systems.In his current role, he leads Talent for the CyberSecurity Unit of Wipro, where he heads the Talent Supply Chain functions (Workforce Management, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition ). He has been successful in growing the workforce by > 20% in last year, thus resulting in industry leading growth in revenue and margins. In his last role, he was responsible for digital transformation of processes and systems for Recruitment & Resource Management Function at UST Global. Previously, He was responsible for Process, Programs and Analytics for the Talent Supply Chain function of Cognizant’s $16 Billion Business. He was also involved in transforming the Entry Level Trainees (ELT) program and planning and execution of lateral hiring for global corporate pool.Earlier, he designed frameworks & systems to enable People Supply Chain Processes for Wipro\'s $8 Billion IT Business. He has been in involved in design and evangelization of Wipro’s Competency Framework and successfully launched multiple Organizational development initiatives. Outside work, He is a sports aficionado and spends his time playing both physical sports like Badminton/Table-Tennis and mind-sports like Bridge. He has represented Karnataka for 3 consecutive years in the Nationals.He is also the Secretary of Karnataka State Bridge Association where his charter is to evangelize the sport among masses and increase use of technology improve the Bridge playing experience. He has developed to two excel based software to automate the scoring for Swiss Teams & Board-A-Match formats.
