Administer and direct an accounting team for all financial related matters within the organizations, including but not limited to AR, AP, GL, Asset Management, Vendor and Customer Relations, and Collections. Provide hands-on oversight for complete HR duties and responsibilities. Lead a team of Directors in sales and operational management. Collaborate with the ownership group to develop quarterly reporting practices, identifying and monitoring key performance indicators. Review and analyze potential acquisitions opportunities for external growth. Work directly with certified public accountant (CPA) and Financial institutions in relations to federal taxes and periodic audits. Significantly improved the company’s AR position through aggressive collection efforts. Resulting in an 80% reduction of past due accounts. Instrumental in driving the development of the corporate structure, redefining roles and responsibilities of key personnel. This has enabled the COO and CEO to shift their focus more appropriately. Partnered with the CEO and COO to revamp the corporate leadership structure, dramatically improving leadership morale and dedication. Streamlined operations and accounting practices for improved efficiencies and profitability throughout the organization. Developed annual review and discipline processes for personnel management and overhauled the compensation structure; introducing a sales commission program and a driver safety incentive program.
