At Loyola University New Orleans, my role as Director has enabled us to advance the field of medical education through the integration of cutting-edge medical simulation technologies. With over two and a half years at the helm, the team and I have fostered an environment that emphasizes practical, hands-on learning experiences for aspiring medical professionals. With expertise in simulation design, I’ve developed comprehensive curricula featuring high-fidelity manikins, virtual platforms, and real-world case scenarios, covering core clinical skills, advanced diagnostics, trauma care, ultrasound-guided procedures, and interdisciplinary team simulations. My work has included integrating point-of-care ultrasound techniques (e.g, TTE, FAST, and DVT), designing scenarios for perioperative and critical care, and implementing gamified learning tools like medical escape rooms. My background in Biomedical Sciences, with a concentration in Medical Simulation, underpins my commitment to developing effective management strategies and educational programs. We\'ve built a robust simulation-based curriculum that not only educates but also prepares students for the real-world challenges they will face in the healthcare industry.
