About Jeff Zhang

I am currently a Principal in Bates White’s Antitrust and Competition Practice. I have extensive experience leading teams in supporting expert report development, providing economic analysis for large-scale litigation, and reviewing and processing large and complex data sets. My expertise includes working for regulators as well as private clients with a primary focus on antitrust work relating to mergers, monopolization, and price-fixing cases.I have had the pleasure of supporting our experts and clients at two recent landmark antitrust trials, working on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice in the Google search matter United States et al. v. Google LLC and on behalf of the National Football League in the NFL Sunday Ticket Antitrust Litigation. My other work has included matters in the automotive, financial services, media and entertainment, electronics, and telecommunications industries.I also play an active role in assisting with the operation of our firm, with an emphasis on mentorship and staff development. I serve as the Vice Chair of Staffing, ensuring case needs and staff development goals are met in the assignment of staff to cases. I also serve as a Senior Advisor to our Summer Consultant Program, which has been ranked the #1 Consulting Internship by Vault several times in recent years.
