ABOUT ZACH FUERST

Zach is Commercial Director at Vineyard Offshore (VO), the US offshore wind development team constructing the nation\'s first commercial scale (800MW) offshore wind farm, Vineyard Wind 1, off the coast of Massachusetts, developing the 1,300MW Excelsior Wind project awarded in New York\'s third offshore wind solicitation, and advancing an uncontracted portfolio of up to 5 GW in seabed on both coasts.Zach is staffed to VO by Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP), who is originates, develops, and constructs offshore wind globally for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), the world\'s largest greenfield renewables investment fund manager (>25bUSD under management). Zach joined in 2021 having completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yale University. At COP, Zach develops investment decision, business case, and market intelligence guidance for CIPin support of North American seabed lease acquisition, offtake bid development and leading COP’s market entry efforts in Canada as Project Director of Atlantic Canada Offshore Developments (ACOD).Prior to joining COP, Zach worked as a an MBA intern in Enel Green Power’s Innovation group for delineating startup valuation strategy, a manufacturing team lead at GE Aviation, a product line owner at Honeywell Turbo Technologies, and a technical project manager at General Dynamics. Zach also holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Columbia University and the University of Michigan.
