About Jyotirmoy Pramanik
Currently, I\'m working as a Senior Data Engineer in the Dunnhumby Media Team, where we productionize ML models and engineer big data solutions for our products, based on complex business use-cases.As a data engineer at Sigmoid, I worked with Marcus, a division of Goldman Sachs (as a contingent), to engineer highly scalable end-to-end data pipelines using PySpark and Azure Databricks. I have optimized the transformation code to achieve around 60%-70% increase in Spark jobs performance, and loaded data to Iceberg tables and encrypted files to FTP locations.I have 7.5+ years of experience in multiple tech stacks, including C#, MySQL, and Protobuf. I have also represented my college at ACM-ICPC India Regionals, a national level coding competition. I graduated from NIST with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Technology, and I have obtained certifications in Azure Development and Neural Networks. I\'m passionate about technology and love to code, brainstorm, and solve complex business problems.
