ABOUT JYOTI RASTOGI

As a recent graduate with a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Finance from Thompson Rivers University, I bring a strong academic foundation in financial principles, complemented by consistent recognition on the Dean’s List in both Fall 2022 and Winter 2024. My coursework deepened my understanding of financial systems, accounting practices, and strategic decision-making, which I further reinforced through a certification in Financial Accounting. This academic journey has cultivated my passion for analyzing financial data and understanding its role in shaping business performance. In addition to my academic achievements, I bring over a year of hands-on experience as an Audit Assistant at KPMG (BSR & Co. LLP), where I contributed to statutory and tax audits for large-scale clients. My role involved performing financial statement reviews, testing internal controls, and analyzing data across various financial domains, including revenue, receivables, inventory, and fixed assets. I worked extensively with auditing tools like E-Audit and IDEA to ensure accuracy and compliance. These experiences, combined with leadership roles at Walmart and Thompson Rivers University, have equipped me with strong analytical, communication, and client service skills—assets I am eager to bring into a Financial Analyst role that values insight, collaboration, and growth.
