As a Special Educator at Imperial Heritage School, I play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs by fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. My responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students. • Conducting assessments and observations to identify learning challenges and track progress. • Collaborating closely with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to integrate appropriate accommodations and modifications within the classroom. • Providing one-on-one or small group remedial sessions focused on literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills. • Using multi-sensory and differentiated instruction techniques to make learning accessible and engaging. • Organizing awareness and training sessions for staff and parents on special education strategies and inclusive practices. • Creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages independence, confidence, and holistic development in all learners.My goal is to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed academically and socially, while building a culture of empathy and acceptance within the school community.
